LACONIA, Lacedaemon (Sparta). Agrippa. Lieutenant of Augustus, 38-12 BC. Æ Sextans (2.45 g, 12h). Struck under C. Julius Eurycles. Bare head right / Winged kerykeion; Λ to left, A to right, EY PY (PY ligate) K/Λ E across field. RPC 1106; Grunauer group XXIX (unlisted dies); BCD Peloponnesos 925. Fine, dark brown patina.
